What if Art and Fashion weren't two different
worlds but they were strictly connected?
As you know Art during centuries has influenced
fashion trends, instead nowadays this link is not
too strong.
We decided to realize a series of photographies, which will
be posted every Tuesday, inspired by a work of art.
The first one is inspired to Giuditta I by Klimt,
he's an Austrian painter who works a lot with
gold and precious stones. He painted it
in 1901, the woman is surrounded by a gold
background like a big jewel.
The photo show me with an Elisabetta Franchi
really precious dress which has a bodice covered
in glitter. The 'femme fatàle', sensual woman,
is strictly connected with luxury and glam.

E se l'arte e la moda non fossero due mondi
separati, ma strettamente connessi ?
Sicuramente attraverso i secoli l'arte ha influenzato
le tendenze della moda , ma ad oggi questo
legame non è più così forte.
Abbiamo deciso di realizzare una serie di fotografie,
che saranno postate ogni martedì, ispirate a
delle opere d'arte.
La prima che vi presento prende spunto da
Giuditta I di Gustav Klimt, artista viennese
che la dipinge nel 1901. Il pittore figlio di un
orefice rappresenta l'eroina biblica Giuditta circondata
da un mare d'oro e pietre preziose quasi più brillante
di un gioiello.
La fotografia mi ritrae con un abito di Elisabetta Franchi
impreziosito da un corpetto in brillanti. L'idea della
donna sensuale, della femme fatàle è strettamente
correlata tutt'oggi al lusso e alla preziosità.
